Begin by setting your intention. Ask the Palo Santo to clear and protect your energy and space. Open a window and/or door(s) to help clear the smoke and any negative energy. Light the stick from the top end and allow it to burn for 30 seconds before blowing out the flame. Walk around and allow the stick to smolder. Invite your guides and angels to help release negative energy. After smudging it's best to lay it in a fireproof plate, bowl or Abalone Shell to let it burn out on its own.
